Policy summary

RTB follows national safeguarding guidance for sports coaching. We prioritise safe recruitment, ongoing training, and transparent communication with schools and parents.

Our commitments

  • All coaches are DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding, with up to date First Aid qualifications.
  • Clear reporting routes with named safeguarding leads for schools and parents.
  • Risk assessments for venues, equipment checks, and weather contingency plans.
  • Consent-led communication with parents or carers for media and medical needs.
